This work presents a didactic proposal that integrates the teaching of Plane Geometry with sustainability practices in the context of Rural Education, through the construction of an Evapotranspiration Basin (BET) and Banana Circles at the Centro de Formação Pátria Livre, in Barra do Choça, Bahia, Brazil. The research emerges from the need to contextualize Mathematics teaching to the territory and reality of students from rural communities, articulating it with Agroecology, critical Environmental Education, and traditional knowledge. Grounded in Ausubel, Freire, Jacobi, and D’Ambrosio, the project incorporates meaningful learning, dialogical mediation, and Ethnomathematics. The practical activities involved measurement, calculations, and the construction of ecological structures, facilitating the concrete understanding of area, perimeter, and volume. The results highlight increased student engagement, autonomy, and the recognition of Mathematics as an instrument for interpreting and transforming the territory
