Abstract

Masks are barriers to viruses and to communication in a context of returning to face-to-face activities in the classroom during the pandemic, for which a voice problem outcome was not thought of. Therefore, the objective of this review was to identify evidence in the literature of the association between mask use and vocal effort. and presentation of results. There were 1114 results, which, after being filtered, left three works, whose contents were extracted and organized in a common theme between them. The analysis of the works described which would be the best type of masks for the teaching environment by the experimental method (intelligibility) and by the teachers' perception (without discomfort).
