Global South Young - Journal of Sociology of Youth

We are presenting the first issue of Youth from the Global South - Journal of Youth Sociology. Our goal is to contribute to the construction and dissemination of scientific knowledge about youth and the youth condition in the field of Human Sciences. We seek to gather contributions that express the thematic diversity, theoretical approaches and methodological approaches, on the manifestations of the youth phenomenon in its historical trajectory and in contemporary times. By publishing and disseminating results of innovative empirical and theoretical research, the journal will seek to contribute to giving greater visibility to the dilemmas faced by the majority of young people on the planet, considering that 70% of the population under 30 years of age lives in the Global South. The Journal Jovens do Sul Global, in its continuous publication, will seek to contribute to the consolidation of the sociology of Youth, the exchange and internationalization of scientific production on the subject, through cooperation and collaboration between researchers from different institutions, disseminating results of original research.
