Abstract

The new experiences lived by individuals as a result of the pandemic, linked to emotional states and social variables - such as quality of life, the new work format, among others - had an impact on the growth of episodes of stress, anxiety and emotional eating. The interrelationship between food and human daily life, with the pandemic effect of COVID-19, reinforced the need for and attention to recommendations that can trigger future health events, at psychosocial and nutritional levels. In this context, the present study aims to investigate the behavioral changes that occurred in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in individuals with anxiety. Therefore, the research is a bibliographic review of scientific articles and specialized bibliography, achieved by the qualitative method of analysis. The data are dedicated to analyzing the anxiety framework in the COVID-19 pandemic and its repercussions on emotional eating.
