Abstract

Young people who are present in physical activities have cultural potential, differing in their content, quality, quantity, patterns and forms of use, mainly due to material conditions, economic factors and their consequences such as free time and sports facilities. The purpose of this essay is to explain the cultural aspects of young people who present themselves for the practice of sport and physical exercises. The essay takes into account cultural dimensions such as religion, language, social rules and moral values. Starting from the coexistence in the communities in order to collect data for psychosocial research, the listing of cultural aspects inherent to physical activities emerged. Thus, in certain communities there is a cultural tendency to discriminate against the physical activities of young people, a fact that must be considered in their mobilization for sport and physical exercises.
