Author Guidelines

The objective of scientific writing is to present, propose or update, to the reader, the main findings, guidelines, trends or updates/reviews through scientific texts arising from a research or study and has the following characteristics:

  • clarity: use of simple words and expressions;
  • conciseness: the act of writing with the fewest words and organizing the body of the article with a logical structure for the reader's understanding.

In order to guide authors, RECET prepared the rules for the submission of a technical-scientific article to this journal.

SUBMISSION OF THE FILE FOR SUBMISSION

After registering at RECET, submissions must be made by the main author, by sending a file (in pdf format) respecting the guidelines provided for in the STRUCTURE OF TECHNICAL-SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE AND GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • When requesting a paper submission, everyone automatically accepts the rules and policies available here.
  • I declare that the work is original.
  • I declare that by submitting this article, I am aware that it is not and cannot be submitted for evaluation to any other journal.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Author Guidelines.
  • I am confident that the text file for submission will be in Portable Document Format (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx), or Latex files (.tex, .bib).
  • I declare that I have no competing financial conflicts of interest or personal relationships that may have influenced the work.
  • I declare that I am aware that all co-authors will be included at the time of article submission. For this to happen, they must already be registered with RECET.
  • I declare that references that include URLs are active and accessible, allowing reviewers and readers to verify the cited sources.
  • By completing the submission of my work, I declare that I accept the rules and policies presented here.
  • I declare that the submitted manuscript and the corresponding file name do not contain any information that would allow for the identification of the authors or their affiliated institutions, in accordance with the blind review process. Additionally, a supplementary file must be submitted in PDF or DOCX format containing the full name, email address, Lattes Curriculum link, ORCID identifier, and a description of each co-author's individual contributions to the work.
  • I declare that, if any, the figures will be attached in png or jpg format, ensuring good resolution and compatibility with the layout process (the quality of the visual elements is essential for the clarity and understanding of the results presented).
