Abstract

SINSECTA marked the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the creation of the Insecta Research Group of the current UFRB and encompassing several Symposia, in addition to the tenth annual edition of the Insecta Group's Course on Stingless Bees:
III Symposium on Agricultural Defense,  II Bahia Symposium on Insect Biodiversity and their Interactions with Plants, Symposium on Poneromorph Ants,  Bahia Symposium on Bees and Pollination, Bahia Symposium on Meliponiculture X Annual Course on Stingless Bee Breeding (Meliponiculture).

The event was held on the UFRB Campus, in Cruz das Almas-BA, between December 3rd and 9th, 2012, and was an accomplishment:
