“AND MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP”
UMA ANÁLISE ECOCRÍTICA DE DOIS POEMAS DE ROBERT FROST
Resumo
O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar se e de que modo pode-se articular uma ligação entre sujeito e natureza, bem como o significado dessa relação, dentro dos poemas “The Road not Taken” (1916) e “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” (1923) de Robert Frost. A partir da leitura dos textos, foram estabelecidas relações entre sujeito e natureza na poesia em geral e, especialmente, nos trabalhos de Frost sob o ponto de vista da ecocrítica literária, a qual, grosso modo, estuda a relação entre obras literárias e o meio ambiente. O trabalho indica as contribuições que os poemas de Frost podem trazer para o campo da ecocrítica.
