This paper presents the critique of humanism developed by Foucault as a fundamental and necessary move for a systematic critique of modern reason. We will concentrate in two critical moments of his thought: his archeology of knowledge, with the diagnosis of confusion between the empirical and transcendental articulated from the Kantian philosophy, and the depletion of the philosophy of consciousness as the foundation of knowledge; his genealogical analysis of disciplinary dispositiv and liberalism.
