This paper is a theoretical consideration from Benjamin, Arendt, Foucault and Agamben. At first, it is an analysis of Benjamin’s assertion which says "we become very poor of liminal experiences". Then, we associate this idea of "annihilation of transitions" with the idea of homogeneity and ephemerality of contemporaneous urban experience. From this point, the text articulates this homogeneity with an idea of impoverishment of the public realm, ie of the political, in favor of a "management of the needs": the management as a substitute of the politics, which would be reflected in the contemporaneous production of space and "(de) construction of the public."
