The problem of the origin of tragedy in Nietzsche

The aim of this paper is to analyze how Nietzsche, based on the philosophy Schopenhauerian, solved the problem of the emergence of Greek tragedy by raising the elements Apollo and Dionysus to an ontological status, and as the Greeks did it in his time through the music. Then reveal how, in Nietzsche, the thought of Socrates emerges as the "wicked executioner of art." The study was conducted through a literature search based on the following works of the philosopher's vision of Dionysian World (a compilation of two conferences and an unpublished text) and The Birth of Tragedy in the spirit of music. In the second part, there is a suggestion about how Nietzsche's tragic that rescues in their time and what the nineteenth-century reception of his work.
