The hermeneutics in Heidegger and Gadamer: some convergences and disagreements

This paper attempts to analyze some similarities and differences between Heidegger and Gadamer, as well as certain aspects of the influence exerted on Gadamer by the former. To this end, we focus on certain core concepts that are present in both authors, such as hermeneutics, historicity and facticity.
