Thomas Hobbes: the need for the creation of the State

This article emerges with the proposal to explain how, from the political theory of the English philosopher Thomas Hobbes (1588 - 1679), generates the necessity of establishing the state , ie, the Leviathan. This perspective will pervade the whole course of the Leviathan, as the philosopher shows the grounds and reasons why the Leviathan should strictly carry out the power, authority, influence, power over their subjects, because without this exercise of coercive power by the state, humanity would enter a state of constant war. Thus, imbued with this scope, the author expresses a legitimate and urgent order to deploy the state
