The text Immortality and Eternity: a dialogue around the active life points out three categories: memory, narrative, and immortality. Categories that highlight the action in the world. Immortality is imposed as what is being perpetuated in time for the memory and narration. The notion that should be overcome in this context is the notion of eternity because it throws every action out of human business. This way, our goal is to demonstrate the distinction between active life and contemplative life. To accomplish this objective we based our argumentation on Hannah Arendt’s ideas. The Methodology chosen is the bibliographical research of exegetical feature.
