Resumo

This review aims to present the book "Industrialization and Ideas in Argentina and Brazil, 1930-1966" by Prof. Dr. Renato Perissinotto. It is a comprehensive study of the industrialization trajectories of these two countries from a socio-economic and historical perspective. The book argues that in order to fully understand the industrialization process, it is necessary to take into account both the structural determinants and the ideational factors that influenced policymakers.
